LIGA ZAKON AWARDS

LIGA ZAKON | AWARDS 2020

When you’re looking for light, mapping, 3D production modeling, Lumenstory is at your service. Our crew is armed with all the skills described above. LigaBusinessInform faced directly with our masters of light, shadow and volume. The Liga Zakon AWARDS from the LIGA group took place in one of the Ukrainian “Hilton”.

We showed the event logo in the intro – a hexagon in which the letters L and Z are stylized integrated. The emblem of the award was changed to an hourglass. And they have already transformed into a dial, which was surrounded by the gears of the chronometer mechanism. The introduction spilled over into the “LIGA Zakon” screensaver in close-up. The award-winning companies appeared on the central screen then.

The crew of our studio has developed a mapping of the celebration. Jewelry work came out, as the project included a lot of small details. The dynamic image had to be evenly distributed over the complex shapes of the scenery. This required a wide screen behind the stage and separate designs for the two streaming digital floods.

The geometry of the image was influenced by the angle of light, the coincidence of the design with the drawing, the obstruction tools. To accurately and quickly select the angle and set the correct image correction are one of our core skills.
Our entire cr4ew took part in the development of the project. We created and set up content for the event, provided VJing.

We modeled the setup for the Liga Zakon AWARDS intro and the main splash screen. One of the brightest numbers was “Themis”. The choreographic performance moved the projection art picture of the performance across the stage.
Everything took place within the framework of the current legislation.

Hologram. Pepper’s ghost is an illusion technique

Hologram Technology: The Magic of Pepper’s Ghost

Holograms are redefining the way we experience digital content, blending illusion and technology to create breathtaking visual displays. One of the most famous techniques used to produce holographic effects is Pepper’s Ghost—a 19th-century illusion method that uses angled glass or transparent film to reflect an image, making it appear as if it is floating in midair. This technique has evolved with modern advancements, bringing hyper-realistic, interactive holograms to stages, exhibitions, and commercial displays.

In addition to Pepper’s Ghost, projection-based holography takes holograms to the next level by using high-resolution projectors and volumetric displays to create lifelike 3D images that appear to exist in real space. These holograms can be seen from multiple angles, offering a dynamic and immersive viewing experience without the need for special glasses.

From futuristic advertising and live concerts featuring digital performers to interactive brand experiences and next-generation entertainment, holographic technology is pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling. Whether through traditional illusion techniques or cutting-edge projection systems, holograms continue to captivate audiences and transform the way we engage with digital content.

Odawara Castle – 1 minute Projection Mapping

1minute Projection Mapping in Odawara Castle – Dream Story

Our video mapping project for 1minute Projection Mapping at Odawara Castle in Japan.

Summary: Odawara Castle as a symbol: power, feudalism, war and new era.

Conventionally, the history of the castle is divided into 3 periods: the construction, destruction and restoration of the castle.

Each period in its time symbolized a better future, a better life. The castle represents someone’s dream, pride, deed, memory, nature and the natural order of things.

The idea is that something that was not available to every person in the past, over time, became available in the next period. The idea also relies on such concepts in Japanese culture. Mujo – ephemerality, transience, volatility Nare – patina, traces of time Eugene – hidden beauty, mysterious beauty Fueki Ryuko – eternal, fluid, eternal in the current. Defining these concepts through the history and life of Odawar Castle, we thus determine the person, his history, his nature. Although history, like nature itself, is cyclical, something new is introduced with each cycle that can change a person, his lifestyle, his values.

The history of the castle , as well as the history of man,, repeating, but with each repetition, it is unique and amazing. Sometimes it brings joy, sometimes it brings suffering. But one thing is clear, that we have a story, that we exist in an amazing present and always strive for a beautiful future.

Circus

Circus | 3D Mapping Event show

The first time in the arena, or rather at the banquet, elephants, strongmen, bears, attractions and other entertainers! You are welcomed by a light digital performance at your event.

On it, without being distracted from communication, you will see an honest circus that defeated the shadows. Our performance is friendly to the interior, decor and the main element of the event – its guests.

It’s only for you that we’ve created an atmosphere of performance that will leave an indelible impression on your memories. But it won’t leave anything on the walls. We make light and the same circus plays in it.
Our performance faced with a lot of difficulties this time.

It was not easy for our elephants to become alive for you. Among other things, we encountered geometric chimeras in the middle of the walls. Their fault was TVs! But at the beginning of the XX century they weren’t born. Our troupe covered them with an opaque fabric so that you will not find flaws even at an acute angle.

Our strongmen lift three-pound weights and other barbells easily. And this is all because of our crew wonders. Illusionism is our mission. Light and shadow are our friends and enemies to each other, whom we constantly reconcile. This is the magic of the circus!

Lumenstory are great hoaxers who will bring wandering artists to any home and even show them on city streets. The range includes animated acrobats, animal trainers, jugglers and other graduates of the circus school. We don’t keep live animals, sir. Only animation!
And most importantly – do not be afraid of clowns – they are also cartoonish.

Lifecell Smart Evolution

Lifecell Smart Evolution Event show

The history of Lifecell from the very beginning – 2005 to 2020. We have shown the brightest moments of the mobile operator development in this 15-year period. It started from DCC company transformations up to today’s global communications’ provider.

Our team has developed comprehensive content and mapping from 212 cubes measuring 0.7×0.7 meters. The presentation was watched by 800 people in a 1300 square meters room. We know how to create one-time large-scale installations, and to put them on stream then. We take into account the features of the exterior and interior by default.

Separately, we want to note the voice and its mesmerizing frequencies that we visualized.
The rich history of the company in personnel, the effect of presence and involvement in everything created by it – are two main points that we dealt with! But there was one more – the most important – it’s the feeling of FREEDOM. We have shown the will that Lifecell’s limitless communication possibilities give. We have opened up a space that can be felt, that can be touched by everyone!

There is the silence further, beyond the horizon. But Lifecell will overcome it too. The final with the skyscrapers of servers and the ball of the company logo is considered open.
We were able to achieve this effect thanks to our designers, who invented how to integrate light, sound and a projector for a presentation. And the technicians placed all the equipment as if it was always there. Each of those present felt like a part of a common, single organism that creates a mobile life.

Generation Party

Gen.Party Table 3d mapping

For sociologists, cultural scientists, researchers and other Internet users, Generation Z is the new generation, the youth of the millennium and “our everything” of tomorrow. But Generation Z may have a different, concise definition. It could be called Gen Z in honor of the birthday party. We showed young people in a new way on such an event.

The task was the next – to place the mapping on the festive table, the accommodation walls and to make the background behind the DJ. Minutes ran away from us, a low ceiling was pressing from above, and the small space of the banquet hall tried to finally crush our capabilities. We overcame all the shadows, time and architecture and won this battle.

As a result, the Code of Matrix was running through the plates and cutlery. It alternated with the spacecraft flying a course from the beginning to the end of the table. Finally, we looped the plot. The content changed, smoothly overlapping with each other. We showed the digital city of the future at Gen Z. The banquet hall was stylized for high technology, adding bright elements of symmetry to it.
The projection on the table was given by five projectors, which we “stitched” together to get a single image. Also, the Code of Matrix was running behind the DJ’s back and along the walls with the help of several more projectors. The entire array was managed from a single server. In addition, we were able to let the light flow in such a way that it did not to reflect on the dancing people or the interior.

Another element of the city of the future was the laser projection decoration in the form of complex geometric shapes on the walls. We know how to pierce space with lasers to give the impression that you are in the space age. We got this experience with the drummers show Rhythmmen.

In our opinion, the clear shape of laser geometric shapes is the style of youth with Gen Z. Nothing superfluous – the lines are clear, as well as the completeness of the forms. This is because the new generation is prone to minimalism and clarity in its practicality. We have shown this as clearly and simply as possible.

In this project, time couldn’t play against us. Mapping started at time and added to the celebration the same dynamics that people with Gen Z are exposed to.

ATB

ATB Led sreen show

Lumenstory sent the viewer to an incredible journey through time. Our team has prepared a large-scale presentation for the 25th anniversary of the largest supermarket chain in Ukraine. The studio created the brand story from 1993 to 2018 in 3D. The intro began with three pine trees, which symbolized the three founders of ATB.

After that, our team looked into the future and created a new, futuristic ATB. Now everyone knows it by the black high-tech monolith, which the chain’s supermarkets are turning into throughout Ukraine. In addition to the black design, our 3D modelers have created the office of the future ATB with palm trees and a rooftop pool.

Lumenstory used four differently shaped screens for a deeper immersion. Two of them were standing under the corners and the studio’s video mapping content was designed according to the size, format, position and their rotation on the stage. Our crew took into account the details in such a way that it was impossible to notice such transitions.

Lumenstory VJs managed all content, scenes and mapping from the ILS-3Dm video server, which was fully adapted for the event.

At the celebration in honor of the 25th anniversary, prizes were awarded in 12 nominations. For each of them the art director, digital artists and programmers from Lumenstory crew did graphics, created a 3D environment to immerse them in the atmosphere of the nomination, and added a separate generative design to the project – graphics created as a program.

For maximum involvement in the action, the programmers from our team wrote a separate code that they used to process the generative design of the event in real time.

I Love You | Wedding

I Love You | 3D  Mapping on Wedding

Do you know how to say “I love you” in several dozen languages? We got this skill thanking to the wedding project “I Love You”. We project three main words outside and inside the San Ray hotel on the banks of the Samara River in Dnipro.

It was necessary to confess love on the facade and column in the hotel’s summer restaurant. We placed an additional decorative element in the form of the event logo on two translucent screens on the both sides of the stage.

A lot of people find it difficult to say “I love you” to an admired one. And it was difficult to display important words there. We dealt with the brightness of the image before sunset. The entire projection had to be launched during daylight hours. Guests at the event gathered at 5 pm and have already seen declarations of love written in languages from all over the world. The interior and exterior already radiated the brightest feeling in full.

Pay attention to balloons, candles and lighting in the restaurant – they didn’t make shadows or obstruct the projection. Our media designers have invented a way out, how to let the light flow, bypassing the festive decor. As a result, the projection canvas was combined with the natural flame of the candles. At the same time, there were no shadows from other objects.

This proprietary studio setup can be repeated across multiple locations. The most difficult element in this project was the oval column in the banquet hall. Due to its rounded shape, it was necessary to make a complex geometric correction. The Lumenstory crew brought together the projection image around the entire perimeter of the custom design. There are no barriers for our mapping, as well as for love. And now we know how to show “I love you” in different languages.
