Project Overview

A retail-screen launch visual built to make the product feel premium and technically advanced.

Adidas launched a new Supernova sneaker model and needed a visually impactful way to present the product in a physical retail environment.

The goal was to attract attention, explain the product’s technology, and create a premium visual experience that communicates the innovation behind the shoe, especially its sole construction.

The Challenge

The anamorphic effect had to work on an irregular corner screen, not a standard flat billboard.

The content was designed for a corner LED screen with different side dimensions, which required precise adaptation of anamorphic perspective.

The key challenge was positioning the sneaker correctly within this irregular screen geometry while preserving a convincing illusion of depth.

At the same time, the shoe still had to remain clearly visible and readable from the main viewing angle in a busy shopping mall environment with strong competition for attention.

Creative Direction

The product became the center of a tactile, soft-body visual world.

The concept was built around a dynamic anamorphic fly-out of the Adidas Supernova, combined with soft, fluid forms that visually represent cushioning and the technology of the sole.

The key visual moment is the sneaker emerging beyond the screen edges, surrounded by foam-like bubble elements that amplify the depth illusion and reinforce the feeling of comfort, responsiveness and material innovation.

What We Created

A full-cycle anamorphic piece tailored for a complex corner LED format.

Visual refinement and depth tuning for screen clarity.

06

Delivery

Final render optimized for the corner LED deployment.

Technical Execution

Product fidelity, soft-body simulation and corner-screen adaptation were all critical.

A key part of the project was building an accurate 3D model of the sneaker using a real product scan, ensuring fidelity to the physical design.

Another critical component was the development of a custom setup for soft-body simulations, used to create foam-like elements interacting with the shoe.

The animation was then precisely adapted to the corner screen format, accounting for different side dimensions and preserving a convincing anamorphic illusion from the intended viewing angle.

Production Notes

Simulation work and controlled revisions were key to the final result.

  • 3D animators
  • Motion designers
  • Producer
  • Supervisor
  • 2D artist

The project included two rounds of revisions, primarily focused on adjusting the scale and behavior of the soft-body bubble elements.

Client Feedback
“Thank you so so much amazing”
Outcome

Approved, launched and built to perform in a high-traffic retail environment.

The project was successfully approved and launched as part of the product campaign.

The content ran over an extended period in a busy shopping mall, reaching a broad audience in a highly competitive attention environment.

The final result clearly communicated both the product design and the underlying technology of the Supernova sole in a way that felt premium, readable and visually engaging.
